Default PT wheels

Where can I buy a set of PT steel wheels? I did a search and couldn't find anything. I have been dragging my feet on the whole winter tire deal and now I want them. a used set will be fine.

try a local junk yard, that's the best place to find them. i think you can also get them from tirerack or one of the online tire companies, but that will cost you a little more.

I tried all of the junk yards in my area, and nothing. Any other ideas?

i've had problems finding rims too...
went to a few junk yards in newark nj.. no luck.. 3 of the yards had pt's w/o rims...
went to the desk and they put out a search.. oddly nothing came back...
(even tried neon 16" alloy rims--- offset was wrong)

so i gave up went to the local firestone guy.. he ordered 15" steel rims... and tires, 195/65, the diameter was the same as srt/stock... when the came in the offset wasn't enough --- i didn't want to run spacers.. not good...

let me know if you find a cheapo place to buy a couple rims... and tires

-thx

2001-2004 VW Jetta wheels fit nicely. Try calling a local VW dealer and ask them if they have any "take-offs". Sometimes a customer will order upgraded wheels, and not want the steelies. I called a local dealer and they quoted me $30 per wheel for 15" steelies.
The aftermarket (tirerack) VW steelies fit fine also, but the aftermarket PT steelies sometimes do not.
