Default One more time to the dealer

So heres the problem

Ok so my car has been acting up the past few month its been bucking really bad when its cold almost like its running on 2 cylinders and then almost dying and when this is happening my boost gauge is at 5 vac when normally it idles at 19-20 vac. It starts to run fine after it warms up so i've had it to the dealer 4 times in the past month to month and a half and they have replaced the tps, tps harness, throttle body, intercooler and the purge valve and the last time the dealer said they contacted ( STARS ) and they told them to replace to purge valve and that did not work when I picked it up on thursday they said " reviewing what we have done until the vehicle stops running we have no more ideas on what to do " So the car acted up again on tuesday so I dropped if off and told them that it threw code p0132. So I called them on wednesday and they said that they could not recreate the problem so I went to pick it up and the mechanic followed me out to see if it would act up but it did not but he said that he heard something so I popped the hood and it was ticking on the passenger side of the valve cover so he said to leave it and he would replace the o2 sensor for the p0132 code and check out the ticking noise. So I call them today to see if it was done and they said no we are replacing the head they said thats what chrysler said to do. I hope that the o2 sensor will cure the bucking problem and the head will get rid of the ticking

the bucking could also be bad spark plugs or wires. as far as the ticking it is pretty normal to have. I asked my dealership about it a couple of years ago and they said it was because of the hydraulic lifters, but if your getting a new cylinder head even better.

I agree. I would throw in a new set of plugs/wires and see if the bucking stops. Try to get a wireset with 90 degree boots at the coil pack. I also reccommend a coil pack heat shield to save your wires from getting damaged from the excessive heat the turbo generates.
