Help pls!!!
Does anyone have any information on installing a TPS (Throttle Positioning Sensor). I replaced my IAC motor/valve and dodge told me to remove the TPS before hand so it does not get damaged, and once I installed everything back again the car wont run at idle. Once I do get it started it wont rev up past 2400 rpm just starts to spit and spudder and backfire; and dies once I let my foot off the gas. Pls any suggestions I would greatly appreciate; Mods are .50 trim turbo, intake, fuel upgrade, SAFC II, if that helps
Did you break the little green piece thats inside the sensor itself? When you pull the TPS sensor off theres a green circle with two "triangles" sticking out. It needs to go onto the little throttle plate piecea certain way so that it can work properly. Pull it off and look at where you have the tabs. One should be on the front of the plate piece, the other on the rear of it so there is tension in both directions. When the car is idling, try wiggling the wires that attach to the TPS and see if that changes your idle issues at all.[/align]
