Default A new ic kit

Hey everyone, just wanted to let everyone know that CXRacing is going to be having kits for our cars soon, with in a months time, it comes with: bfmic 25x12x4, hot and cold side pipes and a bov. He is looking at selling them for about $450 I think. Go to the web site and check it out, they used my car as the proto type, noticed a difference, but havent had a chance to really get on it. If things go well then they will make a T3/T04E turbo kit as well for our cars.[/align]

so you get a front mount, hard pipes, and a bov for $450? sounds like they're using some cheap parts on that one.

No not really its because his not that big of a name yet, but even some of the big names use his ic but just put their name on it and charge alot, he keeps his price simple and not over charge you like HKS, Greddy which is just a name, granted they do make good products, but come on when your that big you shouldn't need to charge alot of $ for things. I am happy with the performance that his ic kit gave my car, Im excited to see what it does at the drags this weekend.

when hard pipes cost around $100 (for the cheapest ones) and a bov is usually at least $200 (again for the cheapest one) that leaves $150 for a fmic. that sounds like poor materials.

there's a reason that ic's cost a lot, it's due to design, research, construction, and materials used. good fmic's cost around $450. this is the same price with an extra $300 in parts included. i have serious doubts about quality on that, sorry.

Not sure on the cores. He didnt tell me anythingabout the flow/ temp test, you can write him and see if he has done one,I havent gotton a chance to check the temp difference. Its all made from aluminum, not sure of the grade, but I have noticed a big difference with my set up, I did drop about a 1 psi drop due to the core being 4" and me with the stock turbo, which is to be expected. He also backs up his work/product's. Its not a big company but they are growing. The ic goes all the way upto the nostrils on the car so its big. Soon I will do a temp test to see what the difference is.
