Default wheel studs

Just got done with a track day, and my friend with who ran his srt4 had 6 wheel studs get stuck on the lug nuts. This happens every time he goes to the track. He is running oz ultraleggeras, with yoko ao48s, the rims require a different lug nut. How do you fix this from happening again? Are the studs to soft? One did come off but it looked like it had been badly stripped, all the threads were gone, the rest snapped off. They are properly torqued, and rechecked. Any knowlegde or advice on the this would be apprieciated.

the lug itself strips when you try to take it off? might just be they are too soft. how long after do you attempt to remove them?

the studs and lugs are under alot of stress at the track, so they probably get quite warm.

when they are still warm the metal is more maliable and will bend easier, thus strip easier. (sry bout multi posts, damn server)
