true, wires are wires, but Granatelli wires performed well in this comparison. if you search, this topic has come up many times before. different folks have different opinions. also, you should get good plugs to match your wires. the NGK plugs do well

stock and stock. don't waste your time and money on parts that look nice but don't help you. i agree on changing your plugs, the stock champions are horrible. denso irridiums are the best plugs out there for our cars, the ITL16's are best for a mostly stock car.
