suspension
i've used the progress rear sway up until now coz the mopar ones weren't available. now that they are available, i'm saving my dough, but the progress front came out and would be a cheaper choice. as for the hotchkis i don't know much about them, but i've beleive that solid bars (mopar and progress) would be better than hollow ones that hotchkis offers.
question.... im gettin my system done, and im gonna be having 2 12s, so is this gonna effect me if i wanna get a rear sway bar... cuz i know some are from the bottom and ive seen others that have them goin inside the trunk it self so i dunno what to do... which ones are the best set of sway bars that go from the bottom in the rear and the front really doesnt matter... and also money isnt a factor in this situation, i wanna get the best set up on my suspension..... thanks again...
Will affect you if you get a rear sway bar? No, sway bar is under the car, if might affect you if you get a rear strut bar. Your sub box might get in the way of that, but you'll be fine on the rear sway bar. I have a 24mm front sway bar and a 22mm in the rear, I don't know what kind of setups they have for the SRT4, I know the setup I have is used on the SRT4, but I don't know what else there is out there for it. Or if anything else is a better setup then what I have. I can tell you thought that I can hold in the corners better then any other car I've ever encountered so far.
Hey has anybody gotton the Eibach springs it says it lowers it by 2.0 in the front? I want to know if you have a hard time going in and out of parking lots? I dont want to scrap up the airdam?
Yea, I'm lowered with eibachs. It says 1.5 inch drop in the front and rear for my car, but it is more like 2 inch drop in the front and back. Its actually the perfect amount of drop for what I want. I'm not sure how much the eibachs lower the SRT4, they're the same springs for that as they are for my neon. I don't scrape that much, I have scraped my airdam a few times.

I think your talking about the Eibach Sportline Springs...there looks to be 2 of tpyes of Eibach's:
(1) Eibach Springs: Lowers 1.6 front and 1.8 rear ($199.99)
(2) Eibach Sportline Springs: Lowers 2†in the front and 2.4†w/ new bump stops ($199.99)
I found them here: http://www.modernperformance.com/dcx/srt4_index.shtml
Anyone have experiences with either of these?

(going off my post above)
did you order #1 and get #2 maybe?? Or does the car go lower than what they say? I dont want to order the #2 thinking it will be perfect...and have it end up lower and being too low. But if #1 goes alittle bit lower than advertised...that would be ok. Get it?
Dont get me wrong here...I am all for lowering and doing race suspension...but the car is for my GF...we want to get rid of the gap but still be a nice ride

thanks

Nope, I have the pro kit. It's stated to lower the neon 1.5" in the front and back. When I first got them on it seemed to lower it about 1.5 in the front and the back, but after driving the car around awhile it seems like it has settled out to be more of a 2 inch drop all around then 1.5. Either way, I am happy with them on mine. I'm not sure I would want to try the sportlines, those would be hella low, I already have to be cautious going in and out of parking lots so I don't scrape my air dam or bumper up too much. And for mine, it doesn't ride that bad. Its a little stiff, but I'm used to it.
