Ummm Neon SXT04 that's what i meant ^^^^

LIke I said before on the dodge website is a pitcure of a blue neon with a different front than any base neon I've ever seen. Maybe the fog lights set it off I don't know. I thought it looked really good. Made me look all over for it on the site and I couldn't find it. Anyway I think they should have taken the Neon and gave it a similar desing but different look than the SRT. They should also dump the wing and only use a mild one. If they would have thought about this a little more they should have started with the neon look alike then came out with the SRT so the SRT looks like the neon not the neon trying to look like the SRT. It's basically the same thing they did with the 2K1 R/T and neons for the year after. The more I look at it it just doesn't look right. They should leave it the way it is and not offer that look.

ORIGINAL: PSI Chick

the only issue i forsee is the problem if stupid people trying to race srt-4 look-alikes and beating them, then going off about how slow the srt-4 is and they can kick it's ***. doesn't matter much i guess, gives us an advantage if they think that we're slow.
I've been saying that exact same thing ever since I first heard of the SRT Design Group package for the SXT. There will be those that think it is an SRT-4 even though it obviously looks different, it has a different nose, wheels and complete lack of ground effects. It does have the SRT-4 hood and spoiler though, which will fool some especially if the car is black. The ones I've seen in black looked pretty good, but in silver it's absolutely hideous.[:'(][:'(][:'(]

Here are pictures that were posted by roadrnnr in the Neon Forum of their SRT/SXT:

Hoods and trunks will fit [8D]

SRT Poser Give aways include -NonViper Seats (Unless you were worried of getting TBoned), lack of dash board boost gauge, No FMIC, No Topside Vents over Front FASCIA, Dinky Sized Rims w/ Drums in the rear & Car is way slower than a honda.

Those neon sxt's are slugs too, i rented a brand new one in FL a week ago and MAN that crap is Slow & not tight.... it was a 2005 automatic sxt Neon, it was squirmy on the highay too. I spoted an SRT4 on 275 in Tampa tho. It was black with black rims and it looked sweet, seeing it realy made me miss my car down there in the warm weather.

I don't see the difference in the 2001 RT and the 2002 RT Front Fascia.

I too prefer the stock SXT nose over the SRT style nose, unless it's in black, then I prefer the SRT style nose, but ONLY in black. Good luck convincing the wife.[sm=crossbonesgif.gif]
