Default Its been a while

Its been forever since ive posted and i just want to say i still love my srt4. She is still running great and strong like the day i got her. Only thing is the tranny might need some new syncros soon. And if anyone was wondering, srt4's dont do well in deep water. I had her floating about a month ago when hurricane fay hit Florida and dumped a foot of rain. Luckily my engine was off so it is fine but the interior had about 3 inches of water flowing in as i floated through an intersection (a truck was pulling me through it) lol. I thought she was done for but after going through that river it started right up and ran perfectly. I ended up sucking out the water with a shop vac and it looked brand new inside. The only downfall is that my 6 cd changer no longer works, it must have gotten water in it.

I hear ya. I sold mine due to the water/snow problems I would encounter here in Colorado....

Damn you're lucky nothing worse happened. Nice to hear that the car made it out okay. I'm wondering about all the poor SRTs down in Texas right now (not to mention the people). Dusty weren't you from TX originally? Would you have been where it hit?

Too close for comfort. I flew down to San Antonio to make sure my daughter and mom were OK. We/they had several inches of rain, but no major wind damage. But if anyone is planning a vacation to the upper Texas coast in the next year or so, you may want to reconsider....

Things OK with you???

i didnt want to go through the water but i had no choice because if i tried to turn around i would have been going in oncoming traffic so i had someone with a truck pull me through with the engine off, trust me i hated every second of it. It didnt seem to affect anything at all except for the cd changer.

I live in Killeen, TX. I got no signes of the hurricane here. Luckly, here. When the hurricane hits land mass. It slows down dramatically. So its all good. Glad to see your SRT-4 is still in good shape. I bought mine 3 months ago and I still get the rush with it. As when I first bought it. I love this car dearly.
