I have the vampbydesign blue leds from my 05 sxt. I ended up doing overlays so i dont need them anymore. make me an offer. I had them in for a week. I think i paid like 50 buck for the dash and hvac. pm me

 

I recently pulled off the dash and got to the lights..and upon changing them, I couldn't tell if it needs to be unscrewed clockwise or counter-clockwise. I don't want to break anything off the back of the panel. There's at least 6 or 7 illuminations...still figuring which bulbs to go with. I did change out the boost light with a blue, but seems to be still kinda greenish color. Any suggestions will be appreciated. How much did your kit cost from autolumination?

the only other gauge i have is my aem air/fuel and its digital...so i dont know if i wanna mess with it lol...

 

I still replaced with a blue bulb and looks alot better. I plan to change all of the other bulbs with bright blue ones. You do what U want with your condom!

 

Anybody know how many lights i need exactly?? Im counting 6 illum for the cluster panel....so that would be 6 of those matrix bulbs for that....and theres how many for the hvac?? and what size bulb is the boost gauge?

 

Boost gauge is a 194 just like the instrument cluster.

There are 6 in the main cluster. 8 if you want to do the turn signals as well, but use single inverted 194s, not matrix for those.

In the HVAC there are three, buy the socketed ones from Autolumination.com/srt4.htm so you don't have to play with wicked thin wires.

 

last question i promise lol... you said there are 3 for the HVAC..are they also the 194 size
the pictures they have on their site aren't as bright and nice as yours...(they might pay you for some of your pics sportn their bulbs)

 

Ha ha I highly doubt they would do that, but I guess anything is possible. No they are not 194s, they are Neo-wedge #74 bulbs. You'll see them on the bottom of the site in the little gray base.

 

I ordered the SRT-4 set up from autolumination...that includes everything that I will need..right? Let me know. Thanks for all the informations lil spark plug!
