Default Fluttering Noise When Accelerating

I have the K&N Typhoon Intake and i havent had any issues with it yet, recently though under full throttle i have been hearing this weird Fluttering/ whistling noise. Just wondering if thats the problem that happens with the K&N intakes that i have been reading about.

What kind of blow-off valve do you have? Or do you have the stock surge valve?

Anyway first thing comes to my mind is "part throttle boost". If you are in a high gear at a low rpm and punch the throttle it is typical to hear some noise and is best to avoid doing that...If you need to speed up best drop the gear down and speed up...
Hope that helps...

However..if you are in a low gear and hammer on it and are getting that noise explain in further detail for us...

I have the Greddy Type RS, and its not all the time usually in 2nd when i punch it. I have been working a hell of a lot so i havent had time to really look around and stuff but its sounds like a fluttering/Whistling noise.

Fluttering under WOT is usually Part Throttle Boost. Its also known as compressor surge, where the compressor wheel is turning too fast so it flutters.

It shouldnt have "part throttle boost" in 2nd at WOT...what does your boost gauge do when this happens??? Have you checked for boost leaks...thats where I would start If i were you...

Well not pedal to the floor (I correct my statement), but pedal under half throttle or so it can.

like stated..does this happen under WOT or when the peddal is half way or partially down?

If you only hear this while pedal to the floor, I would lean to say you dont really have a problem. The one piece hollow intake tubes really amplify the turbo sound.
