Default need help

Hey im new to the forum, ive got a silver 2004 srt and i love it. I have had no problems with it up to this point recently it has been misfiring from what im guessing is the #4 spark plug wire and i replaced it with another stock plug wire and it has gotten much better, but im going to get aftermarket plug wires to hopefully solve the problem. The real problem i have is that my car only boosts to 11psi in all gears no matter what rpm im at. I thought stock it was supposed to spike 14? but i could be wrong. The only mods i have are a k&N short ram intake and a mopar blow off valve. Im wondering if my blow off valve is leaking preasure but ive had the blow off valve for 6 monthes and have had no problems with it until now. Any help or suggestions you guys can give would be great. Thanks

I'm guessing that your stock #4 spark plug wire comes straight out from the coil just like the #1 plug wire? Get a set of MSD Super Conductor plug wires, they will not go bad and they will give you several hundred times more and better spark. During the colder months you will get less boost, the boost will go up with the temperatures outside (colder air = less boost and hotter air = more boost). The cold weather average is 11 psi and the warm weather average is 14 psi.

Might I suggest a set of NGK LZTR5AIX-13 (or PLZTR5A-13) spark plugs for the car as well. If you plan on racing the car more than daily driving, you may wish to change the heat range of the plug to a cooler plug in the 6 range or so. I'd suggest NGK plug wires too, but they don't have the 90 deg. bend in them that the MSD's have...

Myself I love Champions and have always had great luck and performance from them and I've tried many different brands and types.
