I just replaced the o2 sensor and now im gitting p0132-input voltage from oxygen sensor 1 in bank 1 is too high for current operating conditions. what would cause this?

did you use a universal or OEM replacement 02 sensor? and do you have a stage 1 computer?

 

it doesn't matter. an o2 sensor is an o2 sensor, as long as the right voltage is there. it also doesn't matter if he has s1 because his problem is the upstream o2 sensor, which all stage kits and even the ems use. change the upstream sensor.

 

Okay all i know is when i replaced mine with a universal i through a code...(mine wasnt the upstream it was the downstream)..and i through the code becuz i dont have a stage 1 pcm or that fouler kit on the 02 sensor...the fouler kit was on the original o2 sensor i had taken out..but it was too small to fit on the new universal 02 sensor...(the threads were larger)...

inital setup i had... 02 sensor >>>fouler plug thing >>> downpipe
new setup that throws code >>> universal 02 sensor >>> downpipe...

but my code is for low catalyst efficiency...

 

I did use the uni that nevers works so I got the o.e. and still i have p1187?
