05 MUSTANG HA......
I like mustangs
and SRT's
If run into another punk who tells me their stage 1 car will beat my (soon to be) stage 2 and they can run 12.5's I am going to explode... I agree with RR... stereotypes are usually there for a reason... and unfortunately, young punks seem to ruin it... sorry... the saying goes "act like a b!tch, get treated like one"

Personally I could give a rats a.. What people think of me. When you realize that going fast is a direct function of cubic dollars, you will realize there is always someone out there that will be faster than you. I too own a mustang and an srt, I own each for different reasons. I picked up the srt because I am constantly upgrading the 66 mustang and the cost of parts adds up really fast. So there I was looking at a car with all of the good stuff that I was installing on the stang for a sticker of $22.5, 17's, Good power, good brakes, nice seats, radio.....Its not hard to hit $20 when your upgrading a classic. I enjoy working on the stang, as well as cruising it. It is a hobby. The srt however is a fun little daily driver that doesnt cost me $500/mo like most cars in the "sport" category. Back to the original thread...A friend just bought a yellow stang for $4000 over sticker. I cant race him till I get the stock tires on it in the spring, I do know for a fact however, he will loose if there is a dusting of snow.

I cannot think of any time in which the Mustang was ever the top dog stock, however they are cheap and easy to build up. I love the new retro-style Mustang and would have probably had one if it came out a year earlier, but it didn't. The only thing I don't like about it is the seats, nothing can compare to the SRT-4 Viper style seats.[sm=loveeyes.gif] It had what I was desperately wanting from ma' Mopar, a great looking coupe with a powerful V8, RWD and a manual trans. which they still have yet to ever make thanks to the f**kups at Dumler.[:@][sm=loser.gif][sm=nono.gif][sm=bangbang.gif] I hope they burn in hell for what they've done to my beloved Mopars.[sm=badbadbad.gif]

Car and Driver states time wise that the SRT-4's are faster. Ford is pathetic...
What do you think about a 5,000 Lb truck that can stay on or in front of your bumper. $30,000 VS. $50,000? The Ford Lightning

. Just some casual humor. I hate mustangs, I always have. Mustang drivers in general are some of the worst drivers on the road. They DO act invincible. And its not just a FEW of them, its a GOOD majority of them. They have this obnoxious "American Muscle" attitude that drives me crazy. Sure I'll stereotype them, but I'm basing my "stereotype" on what I've seen on the roads each and every day of my life. Can't stand them, and no I'd never buy one, unless my mom wanted it, and even then I'd spend my 35 grand on a new 05 GT and put it as a down payment on an SRT-8 300C....which is far more worth the money. Anything with rusted headers from the factory is **** to me.
