Default RE: Quick Question About an Oil Pressure Gauge

I had that same question, and could not find an answer... I know that no one else on here will agree with where I tell you to put your sending unit, but I am sure that it will work... We are going to do it this weekend. we tested it this weekend, and it seemed to work... Lay under your car and look at the oil pan. On the passenger side of it you will see two allen head bolts going into the diagonal side of the oil pan. That is where your "pressure unit" is. (I cannot remember the correct term, but this is what pressureises the oil in your car...) In theory, if you take that allen bolt out and put your sending unit in, it will work... You will need an adapter, because that is a pretty big hole and the sending unit has a small bolt, but it should work... Once oil leaves the initial tank/pan, it has to be under pressure or else it would not go anywhere... Try it, if not, I will tell you my results this weekend.

Once again, I know that everyone on here will disagree with me, but why don't you wait and see if it is going to work first...
