hello, i recently purchased a set of tokiko struts for my srt4 and i need to know if i need to remove and reinstall the metal sleeve that holds the bumpstop and dust boot from the oem struts or if the tokikos don't need it. any help would be greatly appreciated

 

after installing my new tokiko illuminas w/ the metal sleeves, ride height increased by roughly 1/4" and ride bounce was increased 20x. so i removed the struts and removed the metal sleeves. now rides 30x better than stock struts. kind of a pita but sometimes you learn things the hard way. so for those of you out there wondering........ DO NOT INSTALL METAL SLEEVE.
