Anyone know how much power a stage one pcm will produce without any mods? For example, if you install the stage 1 by itself alone..how much power will it add to your stock?

 

about 10hp. but that's not the point of s1.

 

I was just wondering about it and thanks for the input. I wouldn't just do that, eventually upgrade with all the goodies necessary to make it more powerful. What stage do you have and mods with it?

 

i have s3 and just about every mod possible other than the short block lol

 

If I wanted to go to stage 1..from your point of view, how would you upgrade..with a low budget status? I have the kinetic wastegate and k/n CAI for now. I know you have already read about the boost. Let me know what setup would be great.

 

hard question to answer...it depends on what your goals are. what do you want in the end? hp/et wise

 

I won't be drag racing and only redline once a week. I'm looking at 175 to 190 HP, with the mods that will involve. Remember at a very low budget..say $2,000 to $2,500 of spending. As long as I'm abit higher than a stock SRT-4. And I won't change out my stock turbo, I want to keep it. Your thoughts now?

 

you make about 230hp fwhp stock, if all you want is 190hp i'd say you're there.

 

I've looked at the "Bolt On Plan"post, in up grading the srt4. That's what I will be looking at and working towards. I'll go with the stage 1, with the necessary bolt ons. But I will be monitoring my boost at the same time. Thanks for all the info's!

 

i thought the same thing when i first read that post but i think he meant 275 to 290 cause thats what he put in another post.
