I just picked up the bowl, but on it, is a waring to avoid synthetic oils?? I guess it is okay to use since everyone else is? Also to depressurize the bowl, do you just hit the nipple at the bottom. Thanks.

 

Yes, it's ok to use it with synthetics.

The easiest way to empty it is just unscrew it and pour it out, as opposed to trying to use the valve on the bottom. You're not depressurizing it, though, just emptying it...
