The Bov im wanting to get is the Turbo xs rfl bov. What do I need to make it work and is it hard to install yourself. I will list the items i think i would need. I have been doing alot of searching on it and i just want some input on this.

some type of intake so the bov will make a louder sound
Turbo xs bolt flange for bov thats i think around $80 to $100
Turbo xs rfl bov I like the loudness of it $170 to $200

Is that all i need or do i need a hardpipe. What exactly is a Hardpipe is there one on on each side of the intercooler or just one im not sure.

Is this something I can install myself or if I cant is it expensive for someone else to do it. Around here there probly like me and never messed with a turbo based car

 

First, with a BOV that loud, you don't need to worry about replacing the intake to make it louder. The stock surge valve is pretty loud with an intake.

Hardpipes replace the plastic intercooler tube. Since you can't put an aftermarket valve in the factory location (except for the Forge), you need a place to mount it.

You'll also need to remove the factory surge valve and install a block-off plate.

The install isn't difficult, but if you've never done anything with turbocharged cars, you may want to have someone else do it, as you'll need to screw around with vaccuum lines, as well as work in some pretty tight places.

 

and that damn 3rd bolt ARGH!
