people have to learn sometime, we're not born seasoned drag racers. i'm sure that at some point in time you didn't know what it was either, or how to do it.
i got lucky i guess my dad and all his friends been draging for years. there the one that showed me. im the only one that auto x's tho. its funny how dodge encourages it tho.
Double clutching is just what it sounds like, using the clutch twice to change gears and as PSI Chick already said, it was only necessary way back when before the manual transmissions had synchronizers.
