i just installed an injen intake on my 05 srt4 and after i got everything hooked up i started it up and revved it. it makes a whoosh! sound like my old one did but after that it flutters.....what does this mean? and is it bad? thanks

 

i dont know if thats bad but i have the same intake and mine also flutters so maybe its normal...

 

i heard from someone that its your turbo spinning backwards and thats it very bad...i dont know. the whole thing has got me trippin. if anyone knows if this is a bad thing and if there is a way to fix it let us know. until then, im staying out the high rpms. lol. thanks for any input.

and that intake has been on my car for a couple years now and it flutters every time i shift under low boost and i haven't had any problems so i wouldn't worry.

 

no the flutter is completely normal it happens with the stock intake on too but you cant hear it because of the filter box. i love to listen to it sounds sweet to me almost as much as the bov dont worry about it drive it like normal as long as you double check that every thing is on there correct and tight most of all on the throttle body where the rubber elbow is hose clamped on make sure its on straight with no air leaks other than that dont worry drive happy
