I put the summer tires back on yesterday and I didn't realize how loud they are. It is not a big deal, but after driving on my all seasons for a couple of months I couldn't believe how loud they are.

 

ya know..... you could've used the KDWs for all season. They are great in wet or dry weather.

 

the kdw's are horrible in the snow. there's no way that they can be used all year in places where we have bad weather. they are only a three season tire. snow tires are a must.

 

Agreed. The 205/50-vr17 blizzak lm-25's have been incredible. One drive in the snow on the kdw's (including a 5-600 foot abs buzzing low speed slide on the highway) was enough to convince me they were a necesity(or any tire better in the snow than the kdw's).

Can't wait for the end of March - time to (buzz at 45mph) throw the kdw's back (buzz at 45mph) on.

Actually - I think I am going to get some 225's and 7.5" wheels, anyway - the car needs 'em and that way I can flip back and forth next year.

 

I bought all seasons for the winter because I live in Delaware, and it doen't snow enough to buy snow tires, but it snows way too much for the KDWs. The all seasons worked great. They did wonderful at 125mph LOL.
