Default Fog light rewire to toggle switch

I got a quick question. I am looking to put my fog lights on a toggle switch so I can run high beams and fog lights. I have heard of doing the switch on the stick with the headlights but I would rather not do that. Anyone know how to and what wires to use in the rewire. I've looked on the srtforums, but the thread has been deleted.

Also, I need a new door hinge for the drivers side, the black plastic piece is broken and it pops every time you open the door. Anyone else with the same problem and have an idea where I can get a new one?
thanks.

Not quite sure about the fog lights, but the door hinge, it should be pretty basic setup and plenty of neons at the wreck yards. It should be cheap, they are all standard sizes, take out the broken one and replace it with the undamaged part. Good luck!

All you really need to do is run a constant hot to your toggle and then splice into the existing switchleg of the current foglights. Sorry, don't know the colors of the wire you need for the SL of the light, but you can check which wire is which with a voltmeter. By doing it this way, you still retain the original function as well as the option of turning them on whenever you like
