hey guys my name is karlo from seattle... im planning to get a neon srt4... my question is der any ups nd downs about the car?? please free to email me... all your emails and opinions will help...

 

I've had my O4 for over 2 years and I definitly like the car and what it produces, even I'm still totally stock. No reason for me to upgrade at this time. The SRT is like any other vehicle that you would have to maintain and take care of or you can beat it to death. The only thing that went out on me is the fuel pump and when it was still in warranty, the dodge boys repaired it for free. That's basically it and try to limit my mileages, so far I only have over 50,000 miles. Having an oil catch can would be very important too.
Plan to get an 04,05, or an 06. Why? Well, just a few more options that were added on than the 03. Good luck!

thanks for the replys but one more thing whats the best thing of getting a srt4?? u can share everything... im willing to hear everything??? if i buy the stock srt4 will i hear da turbo loud??

 

no you wont. A CAI will make the turbo loud. First thing I would look at are exhaust and downpipe. They give best butt dyno gains per dollar

 

Well I guess, I'm wrong about the 06. Anyway,Karlo, read all the forums that you can about the SRT-4 and it will answer alot of your questions. Thanks for correcting me, 70x7..keep up the heads up!
