I test drove an 05 today and the dealer had no clue, but the 3 that he had did not have the viper seats. He could not find an option for it.

 

the viper seats are not an option, they are standard. the regular neon seats are what come in the car with the side impact air bags.

 

They are not standard, the one I drove has the low-back seats. It did not have the side air bags.

 

the viper seats are standard equipment. if they did not have them in the car, then the car had side-impact airbags. this has always been the case and has not changed. there is no option for the viper seats listed because they are not an option. the option is for the standard seats w/airbags. the dealer probably didn't know what the car even had in it, so didn't know that the air-bags were there.

since you don't believe me, check here. look under seats, and it lists the high-back bucket seats (read viper) as standard.

 

I read the vehicle information sheet, it had no side air bags and some loose *** seats. Its not that I don't believe you, its what I saw, I thought that was the case too till I drove the car.

 

i thought they where "viper inspired seats" basicly the same without the viper emblem? at least thats what this dealer promo thing says.

 

all i know is that mine is an 05 and it has the viper seats and man are they great. at first i didn't know if i would like them but then after a day or so i realized how good they feel.

you sure you didnt test out one of the srt style neons??? they are the look alikes w/o the power

 

Mine have the Viper seats. Most likely, It could have been a look-a-like SRT. [sm=exactly.gif]
