Clutch Problems
I noticed on my way home last night, in stop and go traffic [:@], that when I was letting the last bit of my clutch pedal out, it was making a clunking noise and seemed to be hanging up on something. I've never felt anything the this before and I've owned and driven quite a few manual trans cars. Anyone have any idea what it could be or had the same problems?
did you check the cable that connects the petal to the clutch assembly? this has broken before on cars, so if it's failing then that could cause it. it's not expensive to fix, i think the clip costs about $1 from the dealer.
also check your mounts. a broken mount will cause a clunk that could be felt in the clutch petal.
