The SRT-4 specification : 2.4l 4cylinder Turbo, 230 hp and 250 of torque,
o-60 mph in 5.2 sec


The 350Z specification : V6 , 287 hp and 274 of torque, 0-60 mph in 5.3 sec, weight 3247 lbs

 

This is a close comparison, but the races I've seen back up the magazine results and they show the SRT-4 is a little quicker in the 1/4 mile (SRT-4=high 13's/350Z=low 14's). This could easily come down to the drivers making the difference as to which beats which, but with equally skilled drivers the SRT-4 comes out on top beating the 350Z. This is a far closer comparison than the SRT-4 vs. WRX, because the 350Z is quicker than the WRX. So, with equally skilled drivers all around, the 350Z beats the WRX and the SRT-4 beats them both.[sm=exactly.gif]

 

Stock for Stock I believe the SRT will take the 350. And price the SRT owns over all. Plus the 350 is just a really heavy two seater, whereas the SRT is a lighter 5 seater. I test drove a 350, and hated it. Who's idea was it to have the gas higher than the clutch o.O Stupid Nissan

 

Ya my dad HAD one and i "raced" him... only up to like 120 and he was a little ahead or even with me the whole race.. Hes a pretty good driver especially with he manual trans and this is my first manual..also my first car!

 

i've raced one once and beat it, but there is a copper one around that is twin-turboed running the 1/4 mile at 10.90 and sticks dead-even with 1100s through 6th gear-its a monster! The 350's are definitely pretty boy cars, but i like them.
