Default Check Engine Light P0122

P0122. I know this code means Accelerator pedal position sensor voltage too low. Does anyone know how to fix it or should i take it to the dealer. My mods are stage 1, mopar catback, K&N intake, and mopar bov. HELP!

reset ecu and see if it comes back. once you start modding these cars check engine lights sometimes just pop up for no apparent reason and don't really mean anything. it happens more than you think. just clear the code, but if it does come back then i would suggest taking it to the dealer.

Well this is what my car is doing. If i press on the clutch it stays idle around 3000 rpm. In the middle of driving to work today it stop doing it should i still take it to the dealer or don't worry about it. I don't want it to pop back up on me. Where is that sensor located at?

Check the wiring at the TPS connector. I have seen a few where the wires are pulled too tight, and they break. If this is the case, the code will return right away after clearing.

Its the TPS. i had the same issue here, as well as the wiring came loose. I also found the the sensor itself had a crack on the housing whick prevented a secured vaccum

Peace
