Hello dudes.. im new and ive always wanted to be in one these things lol you know to ask for help and stuff... well anyway i just got an 05 srt4 like 3 months a go.... i still got my GSR.. i know how to launch my GSR but the srt is more faster more hp more everything and well i was just wondering in what rpms should i launch my car for the BEST take off i mean is it around like 3 or 3 and half rpm like my gsr?. Oh and another thing..does the cold air really increase your horse power? if so by how much? and what brand is the best to get for a cold air.

you dont launch a srt-4.. you slip it... at like 2-2.3k and feather like a ****

 

BTW save ur money and get some exhaust or a stage upgrade.

 

2400 rpm and feather the cluch... and the reason you cant launch like you can with your gsr is hight trq at low rpm not hp...

 

The most common is 2K-2.5K RPM's. The K & N Typhoon CAI is great and you can use it as either a full CAI or a short ram.

 

I luach @ 2500 rpm's to prevent wheel-hop[sm=gears.gif]
