ok so i just got my srt4 like a week ago..drove it regularly n boost it here n there n originally it was spiking at 17 pounds and holding 17 just fine...after a few days i noticed the turbo making a weird sputter when it spooled..def. didnt spool smooth at all...did that for a day or 2 n stopped after i put half a quart of oil in im guessin that was the problem...but now the last 2 to 3 days the car will only spike at like 14 pounds, 15 if lucky..n sometimes only 12 pounds...
i know air temp will change it but thats alil dramatic no? and when i boost it 2nd thru 4th n try to hold it at a a constant boost or if i reach high rpms in those gears like as i wind them out ill hit about 45 to 5000rpms n itll spike at 15 real quick and as rpms climb the boost slowly drops from 15 to 12 or 10 pounds?..boost leak? ecu safety reset? wastegate? i have no idea...i check for leaks i dont know how many times n couldnt find anything its all tight.n now..i just actually got outta the thing just now...n now the car , after driving it around alil and i push in the clutch just to downshift slowly or press it in to come to a stop ch itll idle at like 1500rpms for a few seconds too many, n then jus drop to like 8 or 9. normal idle...wtf is happenng to my car man lol help me!!!..if anyones knows what it could be please tell me n tell me how i can fix it so its hittin at least 17 again n holdin it there..and how can i stop it from adjusting boost like that without having to go n buy a boost controller is there a way to bypass something to hold the boost at a constant like 18 pounds of boost? cuz im gettin worried my 05 srt4, is jus as big a pain in the *** to hold high boost as vw's..n im sorry no mean to insult but i friggin hate vw's for that....ok my novels over help me out lol. thanks everyone!...oh by the way, the upgrades i have is aeg cai, 3 in turbo back magnaflow, stage 2 clutch kit, hks blowoff, ported throttle body and intake manifold, lowering springs, short shifter, guages, ya kno..nothing crazy just alil somethin somethin lol...so idk whats goin on help me out its too close to stock to me for it to be screwin up it only has 62k on it...damn it wtf...
