HORSE POWER FOR THE MONEY
If he said something like "Whats the optimal amount of horsepower I can achieve by spending $1500 dollars in engine modifications?" well then I could've given a straighter answer.....but he asked whats the easiest way to get horsepower??? Mod the damned car LOL
My 2 cents says for something you can do yourself, right now and relatively cheap are synthetic oils. They won't net much hp but do add some and possibly reliability. Other than that, pricewise maybe the cat back and then the stages as someone else suggested. Like the old and so worn out saying goes; hp costs money, how fast do you want to go? I really hate that I had to say that.
Intake (IceMan) approx. $200
Exhaust (Mopar) approx. $360
Stage 1 (Mopar) approx. $360
Wires (MSD) approx. $50
Plugs (NGK Iridium) approx. $30
These upgrade are prolly the most reasonably priced mods, with a noticable differents. I guess they say anything over a 5hp increase can be felt and I feel a big difference from stock. I have every thing I listed but the stage1 I am ordering mine next month. If you want to save the hp you have now from any lose over time I would get the $20 Oil Catch Can (OCC) or if you want to spend the money get the Greddy Catch can.
