how many more pounds of boost can you get out of a stock turbo before it starts damaging things

 

well its depend on how rich/lean you run stock wise i wouldnt go past 15psi S1/S2 holding 18psi youll be fine the turbo is fairly small so from what people say it runs out of effeicanty at 18psi. i dont know i dont have the maps for the turbo call mistubishi and ask. i run 18psi with 20psi spike but i have s/2

 

The stock turbo doesn't run/flow well above 19psi. Hence why Stage 3 comes with an upgraded turbo to replace the factory one.

Stock I get anywhere from 11-15 depending on weather and elevation.
