I've been lurking for awhile....just installed K&N CAI and a Greddy catch can. It doesn't seem to run quite as well as stock. 2nd gear doesn't have the same acceleration, you know, that neck snapping feeling when the turbo kicks in. It seems to be more of a constant power curve. Does the higher flow filter provide a little more lower end so so full boost doesn't seem like such a rush? It seemed like a straight forward install, don't think I f'ed it up.

Hey there,
I have had a different experience with my K&N CAI...
I can tell that it has an increase in HP and throttle respone, but if I am cruising in 1st at 3500rpm and floor it, my tires dont squeal, where as before with the stock intake they did. I think it is the difference in where the horsepower is most powerful at.
Other than that, I have no idea.
Thanks
Andrew

Did either of you disconnect the battery to reset the PCM like your supose to? If not, then that could very easily be the reason for your results.
