So, I get hit head on by a lady turning into ME!! I was completely stopped at a 4-way stop, and she was turning left, and she apparantly didn't realize I was stopped right there, and hit me head on. She was only going about 5-8ish, but man, I was po'd...Messed up my front bumper, hood, both side fenders, broke the radiator (fluid all over the street) and whatever else I didn't see...
So my question is, Since I have to get the bumper, and hood replaced, and some body work done, would it be cheaper to go with a CF hood over OEM and a body kit? It's not driveable right now and it's sitting at the body shop, what I'm thinking is having the body shop fix all the mechanical problems, and with the left over $ take the car to a custom shop and have them do the bodykit, hood, etc...Cosmetics don't bother me too much right now, even though my car only has 2,000 miles on it (my baby!) Where can I purchase the parts at? I'm in Hawaii...thanks a bunch!

 

I was told that factory hood is $2,000.00. A CF hood is $500.00. You do the math. I could be wrong though.
