Hey guys/girls, i just got a 03 SRT4 32k miles 3 days ago. By the time i got home, the car started to wobble side to side in the front, and when i am around 4 gear going really fast, i hear like these weird noises (whistle like)coming from the side of the car. IM 100% sure its not the turbo, because it was not doing it on the way home. I took my car to get the two front tires balanced, and it still wobbles. Then i rotated the tires, and it still wobbles, but alot less. Any recommendations?

 

Check the bushings, axles, ball joints, tire rods, etc. Have the entire front end of the car checked out. And make sure that when they balanced the tires they checked for bad belts, alot of places wont do that, they'll put it on the balancer cover the tire and allow the lasers to tell them where to place the weights.

Check my Wheel Shimmy Oscillation thread for everything I had to go through...and I still havent figured it out. I have new tires on and everything, and its lessened, but still there.

Make sure you dont have a bent rim either, though only 2% of bent rims cause a vibration.

If my re-balancing and alignment don't work this time, Im buying the full bushing/endlink set from Modern Performance and slapping that on the car to fix it.
