Buying Boost Controller, Need Help.
By the way, thanks for your help on my last post.
I am going to go buy a boost controller from one of my performance shops near by. They offered me a Turbonetics (Manual Boost Controller) installed and configured for 160$$$$. Is the price good? Also, I have an Intake and HKS blow off Valve, what boost should i tell the People installing it to set it on? (people say 19, i rather here from the SRT pros in this forum). THANKS

Don't take this as true, but I heard that the stock turbo can safely boost 17-18psi. But don't take my word for it. I would just buy the Boos controller and install it your self. It is easy enough. I would do it myself just b/c I wouldn't want them beatin on my car while I wasn't there, that is one reason why I do everything myself. That just my opinion
That a little steep for an MBC. You can 17 lbs of boost safely if you're stock. Now i heard of pple running 19-20 psi on a stock SRT, but i wont go that route unless you have an wideband A/F
Thanks alot, you guys/girls are the greatest. I had a nice experiance today with a Evo. I reved my engine and he just stoped to wait for me when i turned. LOL i was like oh oh, im screwed. So i down shifted to first and passed him, but just like that, the evo passed me. Do you think by boosting 17-19 pounds, i can put a match up against an evo?
