I have a code of P0522, i know it has to do with low oil pressure. is the oil pressure sending unit a common thing to go out on the SRT-4 or neon? it comes on after i start it sometimes. but if i shut the car off and start it back off it will be off and stay off. it is a random thing. it doesnt always happen. just sometimes. i have had the sending unit replaced and have not had the light come on since. i am just wondering if the sending unit has a tendancy of going out. the car has 142xxx miles on it.

 

my light came back on but if i shut the car off and back on it still stays out. anything?????????? please help

i had the switch replaced and it still does the exact same thing.
