If I were to need Dealer Service would I need to replace a Stage 1 with my stock PCM? I don't want my expensive extended warrantee to be voided. I note the Stage 1 info says " Not legal for road use" . I know many of you guys have Stage upgrades and wondered if you ever had Dealer Service or Warrantee problems with them in place?

 

If you were going in for an oil change i woudlnt bother swiching them back.. if there was a bigger problem then yes i would. if you have your stock airbox there is no reason for them to even see stage 1.

 

They will only know if it is if they check into it hard enough, it doesn't look any diferent than the stock one, but the numbers on it will give it away. You might want to change it only if you are taking it in for a warranty repair or find a mod friendly dealership. Technically they cannot do anything about it unless they can prove that it was the cause of the failure, but they will try to regardless.
