ACR MODEL AVAILIBLE
'sup, Jeff. I was in yesterday for an oil change and I checked out the car. While I'd say the bbs's are nice wheels and the 225 width is a big +, they definitely don't fill out the wheelwells enough with the smaller tire, visually[:'(]. BIG gap.[:'(] I am sure it drives great, But I will definitely be getting my own choice of 17" wheels and I am glad. I am sure I can find some decent rims and a set of 5 way struts for 1200.
I'll probably get some drag radials and 15's when I do it, too; but I am not too concerned about how they look
.
Then again, my SRT-4 is definitely not going to be competing in stock class[>:].
OH yeah - if anyone is looking for a Black acr no sunroof, bergey's has one.- guess I am a little late.

thanks for the info people and when i went and test drove it i asked about the color and all they had was black and it does not come in any color the other srt's have.....but i think the acr has a different feel to it then the regular srt because of the suspension of corse and smaller rims.....i think the damn things great though (acr)...................the rims are nice two....a lil gap never hurt anyone....
If your goin to race scca then get the acr if not just get the srt-4......the only reason dodge had the acrs to begin w/ was for owners to get involved in track racing as an option. My dad told me about it while he was working for chrysler. They had acr vipers and neons where he worked and I was curious as to what they stood for and why they made em.

Actually, you are close, but in fact the reason for the acr's 2005 production run was to get scca homologation ( or however you spell it) for club racing. You need a minimum of 500 cars or 550 to qualify and that is how many they made/are making.
