Do the Prothane inserts really help wheel hop and ?. Is there any chance than when you remove the motor mount bolt that the engine could drop a tiny bit and not allow the bolt to enter again? This would require jacking up the engine a bit to realign the hole. The install sounds so simple but I had a paranoid thought about the motor sagging with no bolt in place.
Thanks

Here is the thing. They aren't really motor mounts(which I think are on either side). They are engine torque strut mounts. They keep the engine from rocking, but they don't actually hold it up. You may want to put a jack carefully under the engine to make it easier, but the job isn't hard like on cars where you actually replace the "mounts".
BTW - yes, they help. Also, they make the car feel more connected(at the expense of a little more noise), overall, which I like. They don't completely cure it, though. Depends on how far you want to go, for a really big difference, you will want to replace the mounts altogether.
