Default OCC Questions

I notice almost all of you have a OCC. What is it good for and why is it good to have one. Simple question, please give me simple answer

The OCC prevents a condition the SRT-4 has, where oil that is escaping through your PCV valve is being routed into your intake manifold as it is set up in stock configuration. You place the OCC inline on this hose, and it catches the oil, keeping it from entering your engine. This is a very good step to take as far as preventative maintenance goes.

I think that is a pretty simple, easy to understand answer, yes?
