If you get a SRT-4, be very careful. Many of these cars were bought by young first time buyers who didn't have experience in taking care of vehicles. They just drove them till they broke down. The turbo makes the engine run really hot and high temps aren't good for most things under the hood. Have someone familiar with the car check it out first.

The ACR SRT-4 is a great car the only thing I will tell you is that changing out the 16 inch wheels. On the ACR the spring perches on the Tokico struts sit lower than the base SRT-4. The ACR is cursed from fitting anything other than what comes right from the factory which is the 225/45-16. Want a wider tire? Not happening without sacrificing safety. You could always change out the struts to the base SRT-4 struts or coilovers which would allow you plenty of tire/wheel upgrades. Good luck with your purchase.

Yeah acrs in my op are the best srt4 around i had one a few months and loved her . Stupid thing was I changed out the suspension for stage3 coilovers so pretty much was not an acr anymore without the tokiko struts it should not even be called an acr. I would stay with the tokiko suspension and get some nice prokits. Dont change the tire and wheel size whatsoever and keep the bbs. The acrs only came in 05 and thats the only yr.

lucky cats!
they didnt offer them up here after 99
and in late99/early00 when i needed a car the srt4 was just a pipe dream.
so I missed out on both
they offered a 150hp RT up here and thats it
untill the SRT4 became reality (04 wasnt it?)
my timing sux
