upgrade pistons
this seems a little jumbled. usually car manufacturers drop the compression in a turbo/supercharged cars because the forced induction just increases it. as for pistons, unless you plan on going extreme with the car, there is little to no reason to mess with them.
stock compression ratio is 9.4-1 so I dont see where 10.0-1 would hurt too bad.
higher compression ratio just means higher cylinder pressures and in turn leads to the engine being more prone to detonation. As long as you get the timing and fueling set properly it wont matter. You also will have to start running higher octane gas and probably think about either water or alcohol injection to help quell detonation.
I'm not saying go run c16 or anything but you might want to seriously think about adding a bit of toluene to the tank from then on.
personally, I'd leave the c/r alone and work the head and valvetrain over. Off boost power is very nice in our cars already due to the stock c/r and long stroke it has.

ooo yeah, no clue where I got that number from hah. but technically, you're wrong too

anyway, I still stand by what I said for everything else. as long as you can keep detonation at bay you'll be good.
