The car has hit 60,000 miles and with the power I was making it is only a matter of time before it gives up and sends a rod threw the block. I have decided to rebuild the engine. But instead of doing it twice I am going to do it once the right way. I have begun to order parts and the head is in here are the pictures. I have to have something to tune with so I bought a Diablo Sport Tuner. I have the SCT Tuner, but the Diablo Sport has more options. And to make sure the head stays down I bought ARP Head bolts.
Short block is done. Block is decked and 90 degrees to the pistons. Crank shaft is polished. All internals are balanced and blue printed. Block has also been repainted black.
