Question on replacing stock springs and struts
Hi. I have a 2004 Neon SRT4. The previous owner had cut the springs to lower the car. I was just wanting to replace these springs with some Eiback Pro Lowering Springs but I think I may need to replace the stock struts as I believe they are damaged by the cut springs. Car has 80k miles on it anyway. It I put the Eiback Lowering springs on it and buy a set of struts will I need anymore parts or can I use existing mounting hardware from the stock struts. They appear in good order. I am thinking of buying the Tokoco HP Struts listed here on ebay......

My question is can I buy these struts and mounting them using the existing stock plates and all? Or do I need to buy more mounting parts?
I am also thinking of buying these maybe but the photo does not look just like mine, this appears to have a mounting arm. See link for these:

Help me out anybody that has changed their stock struts and springs. The springs I do want to buy for sure are these:

Thanks ahead for any info or suggestions that you may have. My car is in bad shape now. I have only owned the car for two weeks and the guy that cut the springs cut them to much and it really rides like a scalded pig.

I have been searching online and for a set of 4 struts for the SRT4 they appear to be around 700 to 750.00. I thought I found some several times for 250.00 or 300 a set but then realized those were not for the SRT4 but the regular Neon.
Any Idea how much the Dodge dealer will charge for the struts? Or where is my best bet to find these. There are not many options at all for the SRT4 struts.

Go to amazon .com and look under srt4 and see if you can find the tokiko illinumations for 167bucks they are your best bet to go to and they are meant for a srt4 you might be able to find the prokits cheaper on there also. Good luck .
If you can find struts like what I found for a srt4 and springs cheaper than coilovers are over a grand so if you can find some less than a grand I would go that way if not than coilovers would be so much better drop than springs and struts for a srt4.
MP has Megan coil-overs for $900 and BC for $1,000. We both know that MP doesn't always have the lowest prices out of any other online parts store either.
If you bought Illumina's for the $167 each as you say, that's going to be almost $700 after shipping and possible taxes, unless you don't pay either. You can find Eibach Pro-Kit springs for $200 on MP, maybe $150 somewhere else. You are now at $850-$900, if you don't pay shipping or taxes on the springs either. For the same $900, I'd rather have a coilover set-up instead of struts and springs.
EDIT: Tein coilovers are ~$1,000 for their basic setup as well.
