i never thought i would use the word "puttering" when it came to car issues but i am. this morning on my way to work after driving about 10 minutes without issue my car just started to sputter and the check engine light came on. i am at a loss because this happened (without the check engline light) about 3 weeks ago. took it to the dealership and they said my spark plug well gasket was toast and oil was getting onto the spark plugs. the gaskets have been replaced and new NGK plugs installed at .38 gap as i was instucted by the fine people at modern performance as i am running a stage 2 mopar kit. any trouble shooting methods would be helpful. Can someone also let me know what is the cheapest way to find out what code i threw also. thanks!

 

hey man, so Im answering your question with one. Is it happening at a cerian rpm somewhere maybe around 22 to 24?

 

To find the code cycle your key to on before start and back to off three times, where your mileage shown the code will appear there. As far as sputtering can you ohm out your spark plugs or when did you last cheange them?
