Default Availability Question

I was thinking of getting a '04 SRT-4 but not untill beginning - middle of may. So I was wondering if anyone here has had problems getting a hold of 1. On the dodge site there are plenty of SRT-4's in my area so I'm wondering if they sell like crazy or if they will probobly still be there. If they do sell like crazy do dealers normally get more in to replace the old one's?

thx in advance

2005 will be the last year for the SRT-4, so you're probably OK until then. If you live in or near a large city, you'll probably have a better selection. When I bought mine, there were 2 at my dealer, and 4 more in the San Antonio area. When I went back for my first oil change, they didn't have any in stock and said it would be about three weeks before they got any more. Some dealers may hold one for you if you put a deposit down.[sm=smiley24.gif]

The most I have seen at the dealership where I bought mine at one time was 3. All the other times it varied from 2 to none.

Thx for the info, there's a dealership fairly close to me that has for at the moment, but I can't but yet so I'm hoping they stay stocked up.

on a side note: does anyone know what changes if any will be made to the '05 SRT-4?

I heard an unofficial rumor of 10 to 20 more horsepower, but nothing certain yet.

I have heard the same rumor. The '03 SRT-4's were rated at 215 horsepower, the '04 SRT-4's are rated at 230 horsepower(they come with the fuel injectors from the Stage 1 upgrade) and the '05 SRT-4's will probably be rated at 240 horsepower(they will probably get the Stage 1 computer to go with the Stage 1 injectors).[sm=smiley23.gif][sm=smiley2.gif]
