Be careful with the bragging
Did you know having NO catalytic converter completely voids your warranty?!?! LMAO HA I didnt either.
Stupid POS service manager at my dealership cant stand me cause Im a chick thats smarter than he is. I pull my car in on a Friday for an oil change around 1 oclock. The oil gets changed and he tells me we "need to talk". I go great, here comes the exhaust lecture.
He tells me that he spoke to a Chrysler rep that was at the dealership yesterday (which wasnt a rep it was an engineer working on a problem vehicle but thats okay). And that rep said that any exhaust work voids my warranty completely. I looked at him and called complete bull****. He looked utterly dumbfounded as to why I said that. My exact words. "Mark...you didnt know the car had a custom exhaust until today....how could you talk to someone about it yesterday?!"
Idiot.
Needless to say oxidizing B Pillars, and somehow abnormally spotted cowl panels and mirrors are not warranteeable under the 3/36 when you have any type of exhaust. Neither is the TPS, IAC, or Fuel Sending unit.
Innnnnnnnnnnnnnnnteresting.......bunch of morons most of them. Im sure you, PSI have had the same issues. Knowing more than your service department and being a chick never amounts to anything good. They just get really really ticked off and find any way to get rid of you.

yea, pretty much. although i don't bother going in for warranty work anymore. if something goes wrong, i just fix it now. i have to take the car in next week for the a/c though, that's going to be a fun battle. there's a leak in my a/c lines somewhere, i had the same issue last year at this time. they recharged the system and added a dye and said that if it leaks again to come back and they can see where it's leaking from and fix it. i wonder if they'll actually fix it or just give me a headache over it. probably blame it on my mounts, even though the problem is on file and i didn't have solid mounts last year....
First of all TopCop441 I like what you have to say! But I have to say beyond a reasonable doubt is a criminal standard. Civil uses a term something like a preponderance of the evidence! A much lower standard and more likely for them to be able to meet. Now to you girls (hot because you know so much about our car) those morons mess with us boys too! Their stupidity transcends gender!

PSI and Sexy, I bet that is a real bitch. My girlfriend had issues for a while, just because she had absorbed (much to her behest) some automotive knowledge. Between the fact that she has a bit of a clue on cars, the fact that she is smart and assertive, and the fact that she is an attorney, on top of it, they dealer she used to( before I got her to my people) go to all but refused to work on her car. They really botched the electrical system on her '92 bimmer, and charged her for a replacement of a control arm they never did, and she called them out on it. Guess they didn't expect it out of a 5'1" little asian girl
. - The dumbasses.
-P.S. - I just realized I called you sexy, LilSparkPlug - I guess old habbits don't die

you are actually right Pony Killer this would be a civil issue[if it ever happened] and in civil court the standard for a conviction is much lower >a decison in civil court is baesed on "the perponderance of evidence"{>>hey if i spelled that wrong dont bust my chops i failed hooked on phonic's twice!!!}where as in a criminal court its you "beyond a resonable doubt" >that is why O.J Simpson was able to get away with murder.he was found guilty of murder in his civil case.ok enough of LAW_101. back to the issue of some one's warranty being voided because what they say on a web site thread here it is in a nutshell>>>>>>>NO WAY -NO HOW!!!end of story ,and please dont get me started on O.J simpson that is a very sore subject with me.it basically proved the old saying >>"if you have dough !!!you don't go"[to jail folks].
Well i dont have a problem with any of it.. as far as them voiding warranty for no cat, he was just being a *****. But no they cant void warranty for just what you say on herre they have to catch you with a problem while in a dealer and prove it. Im gettin ready to buy an srt4 and put stage three along with alot of other mopar bolt ons. i take care of my customers and friends though.
