When racing at what RPM's do you guys shift for each gear, is it the same for each gear or different?
I like to WOT shift, but wasnt sure if shifting at different RPM's would give better results?

I usually get close to red line. After the problems I've had, I don't think I'll be doing anymore WOT shifts.

 

Are you having clutch problems or tranny probs?

 

5800 rpms, every gear! once you get s2 or 3 bump that up to about 6200....

some people short shift 2nd, but i've never felt the need to or seen any benefit from it.

 

Like Me!! i short shift to 2nd power-shift to 3rd all the home like PSI mentioned

 

Ive never raced the car....so I cant answer that one. But the manual gives three different options for shifting. Easy...medium...and hard.

Im 1st to 2nd at 12-14mph....so figure out my granny configuration from there.

And damn if I did race the car....**** its blowing up now god only knows what else could go wrong.

 

Time to shift = before rev limiter boy that can be embarrassing when you miss a gear...

Yeah! lol Fuel cutoff shifting is the only way to drive [8D]

4th) BRRRRRRRRRRRRRR Sputter Sputter POP! POP! POP! Burggle Burggle Burggle Bang!
