The dreaded TPS anyone????[sm=badbadbad.gif] If you get a chance, when acting up, jiggle TPS wire....if car sputters while jiggling almost stalling, you have a bad TPS connector and harness....You will notice it will get progressivley worse.....when in motion it will seem like car is on cruise control......Instead of hitting gas, just apply clutch, that will make it go away momentarily.....if you take it in to dealer to have them check it out, DO NOT SHUT CAR DOWN....it comes and goes and mostly goes when you need to show mechanic......

Located front drivers side under Airbox (or where it used to be). White 3 wired sensor near ECU. Search "TPS" in forum and you will get ALOT of hits on it...I even think there is a step by step for splicing and/or replacing. Usually, wire inside covering snaps due to wire wrapped aroung with no slack, causing snappage. ( is that a word???)
If you can get a good dealer who will know what you are talking about (It is a wide issue, but you never know) and It is gonna cost you, I think parts not covered....I am not sure, I spliced a wire into existing sensor for slack (Overseas and not a dealer around and no issues since....) Good Luck....
